Women’s Retreat Playlist

The following is a playlist for our retreat. These are songs we will sing at the retreat, and that fit the themes we will be discussing. We’d like to encourage you to spend time listening to these songs in preparation for the retreat!

Mark your calendars! Our ladies will be traveling to the Blue Ridge Mountains, right outside of Brevard, NC, and staying at Ridge Haven camp the weekend of March 1-3 for our annual Women's Retreat. The price is $125. We would like to make scholarship money available, but in order to do so we need others willing to contribute to the scholarship fund. If you have questions, including scholarship money, email us at womens@midlandschurch.org.

What to Know

Address and Driving

Ridge Haven is located at: 215 Ridge Haven Road, Brevard, NC 28712

It's typically about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive. You can check in to your room as early as 3pm. If you can't get on the road until later (such as after work), anticipate the trip to take a little longer because of Friday afternoon/Weekend traffic.

We encourage you to carpool up with other ladies because there is limited parking, plus this is a great way to get to know some other ladies. Contact us and let us know if you’re driving and have room for passengers, or if you’re looking for a car to ride in.

What to Bring

  • Bible, journal, and pen

  • Appropriate clothing and shoes, including athletic wear for hiking and other outdoor activities. We’ll be just outside of Brevard, NC if you’d like to look up the weather.

  • Bedding and towels are provided, but feel free to bring additional items if needed.

  • Any toiletries / medicines / etc you'll need for the weekend.

  • We’ll have some free time during the weekend, so bring what you’ll need for this time (books to read, proper clothing for hiking, etc). Feel free to call Ridge Haven 828-862-3916 to learn more about other activities at the camp or in the area.

  • Please keep in mind, cell reception is very poor at the top of the mountain. There is WiFi available at our lodging.
