2 Corinthians 3:1-3 || Greater Change
2 Corinthians 3-4 (Unveiled) Series || Following our Exodus series, we examine two chapters from a letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth roughly 1500 years after the Exodus. 2 Corinthians 3 and 4 provide a helpful reflection on Moses and the Old Covenant demonstrating how Christ came to illuminate the dim image of God available to ancient Israel. In contrast to the flashy preachers that had begun to sway the Corinthians from their commitment to Paul’s gospel, Paul takes us through a beautiful presentation of the true glory of God and explains how it transforms everyday life. The New Covenant tears the veil that once hid God’s people from His glory, freeing us to experience the Lord face-to-face. In this first message of our ‘Unveiled’ series we see how when the Holy Spirit dwells within us it not only brings about an internal transformation, but a change of our outward actions.
