We will hold our annual Good Friday service the evening of Friday, March 30 beginning at 6pm in Burriss Hall. In honor of it being Good Friday, we would like to call those in our church family, who are able, to fast on Friday. Our goal for this fast is that we as a church family might take the time to remember and reflect on what Jesus did, in real time and space, and to let hunger help remind us of his suffering and sacrifice. We will break fast together that evening as we observe communion, and share a meal afterwards. You might want to check out this helpful article at Desiring God for further thoughts on fasting. We hope you can join us. Invite guests as well. The meal will be catered, so no need to bring anything.
"When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit."
